What to Do if Your FedEx Shipment is Damaged

Always inspect your shipment immediately upon delivery, note any visible damage on the delivery receipt, and take photos—this makes the claims process faster and smoother. FedEx requires claims to be filed within 21 days of the delivery date for damaged shipment.

    Gather Documents

    • Tracking number of the shipment
    • Proof of value/purchase
    • Photos of the damage (including the box and contents)
    • Original packaging materials, if possible

    How to File A Claim

    • By Phone: Call 1-800-Go-FedEx (1-800-463-3339)

    Provide Documentation

    • Upload or provide all supporting documents, including:
      • Photos of the damaged package and product
      • Proof of value/purchase
      • Any relevant shipping paperwork

    Track the Claim

    • After submission, FedEx will assign a claim number.
    • You can track the status of your claim online or by calling FedEx.

Do Not Repair Before Claim Approval

    • Wait for FedEx to inspect or approve the claim.
    • Repairing the board prematurely may void insurance coverage.

Please Contact Us for additional help with your claim.
