Fishes have been a part of Brewer surf design since 1976, when Dick assisted  Mark Richards in the creation of MR’s first performance fish. With the Lotus Fish, we wanted to include some of the features of an old school fish but we wanted more speed and control. The Lotus nose template worked well for this design and the bump wing worked in reducing the tail area and also serving as a transition point to reset the rail contour and bottom rocker. The Lotus Fish combines the best of both, modern and retro. Single to double concave with a tight rail and modern nose. A lot of skate, but very controllable.
