This model has a fuller pointed nose and utilizes a swallow which has a tail area of a squash. When turning, the nose width gives the board forward drive and also with a relaxed nose rocker paddles in smoothly. The combination of tapered rails with the bottom of single to double concave and vee gives this board fast flow yet goes vertical with tight areas.
