The Diamond evokes a flashback to an earlier era of surfing and the pathway to an entirely new approach to surfing. The true diamond tail outline is probably one of the most difficult outlines to get right, with its subtle, almost parallel tail curve and wide point forward. It is in these subtleties that the board works—generating speed, glide, and pivot control. An excellent alternative to a fish, offering fish-like skate while maintaining the type of control you would expect from a modern surfboard.
