BLUE MOON

This is the model that Kai Sallas won the World Championships on. Initially, Kai designed this board with a bit of tail rocker to give it lift while on the nose. However, the tail rocker made the board slightly too slow. So, he added a moon tail and concave to the tail, allowing just enough release for the water to flow off the back. This adjustment provided the perfect balance of lift and speed. When it mattered most, the Blue Moon proved to be the winning board for Kai Sallas.
